KGHM ZANAM supports the residents of Polkowice

Yesterday, a bin for plastic bottle caps, which was specially designed and manufactured by KGHM ZANAM S.A. employees, was installed in the Polkowice market square, which will make it possible to help those who need it.

“Actions supporting local social initiatives are in line with the KGHM ZANAM’s policy, so we decided to participate in a charity action initiated by the Mayor of Polkowice,” says Bernard Cichocki, the President of the KGHM ZANAM Management Board. “Our job was to make a container for bottle caps having the shape of the Polkowice Commune logo. The job was performed as required by the experienced employees from our Legnica plant, which specialises in the production of steel structures,” he adds.

We are pleased that we have the opportunity to join and support this useful initiative, especially because that the first fundraising will be dedicated to 5-year-old Gracjan – our employee’s son. In addition, collecting bottle caps is a popular form of supporting charity actions in Poland for the benefit of the environment.
